About Dr. Lucas

Kevin P. Lucas, D.D.S.
Dr. Kevin P. Lucas graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign in 1982 and received his dental degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1986. He continued his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1989.

Dr. Lucas has been busy starting his 16th year of teaching orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania (an Ivy League school), where he is an Associate Professor.  He completed the highest level of Board certification in orthodontics and was the recent president of the Chicago Dental Society, Northwest Suburban area.  Dr. Lucas is very active in the dental community as founder of the Northern Illinois Dentofacial Study Group.  He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society.  He also lectures on adult orthodontics and interceptive orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Lucas participates in ice hockey, running, weight lifting and travel. He is also a collector and racer of sports cars.

Dr. Lucas and his wife Renee have three children.
